Vertrautes Gebiet

The Task was to do a book about everyday life. In my
memories there is something like the „lieux de memoire“
which is already mentioned by Pierre Nora. So that
every single place, where i´ve been and lived in my
life so far, has it´s own meaning in what we call
daily routine. Reconstructing my memories about that
point, I realised that i´m reducing this kind of
imagination to architecture of the places i´ve been,
equal if it has been somewhere in the city or in the
landscape. This little, personal „lieux de memoire„
is what i tried to bring back to something which also
could be indentified by everybody, and therefore back
to an collective memoire like they where mentioned
in Pierre Nora´s theories.
